this is a story about the cosmos.

to find the truth we need imagination and scepticism both.

Untitled

I'm lucky, because, sometimes i think, i see the truth so clearly.

since my absence from the (oh hate when people do this, but non the less), blogosphere.

i decided to celebrate my return with a beautiful letter written by fiona apple to a 16 year old gay boy...
my absolute favourite passage "A person who loves is a righteous person, and if someone has the ability and desire to show love another-- to someone willing to receive it, then for goodness' sake, let them do it."

a person who loves is a righteous person.
how intimately profound. the last few weeks i've been battling with this idea of love,
and how to justify it, in a world where your own insecurities and history is the measure of your ability to love.
but as fiona says, if you love you are righteous, you are irrevocably good.
last night, someone else spoke to me about the concept of the good that people do, and how often that good is returned in some form of hate and badness.
its difficult to stay positive and to love without wanting anything good in return.
i carry this almost naive hope in my heart that if all the goodness that i reflect onto someone else, is enough, and is given in abundance,
then there will be love, despite the horrors of the past, and the love might grow in a way that dissolves the haunting of one's own demons.
that some good will come, and that the future that might seem difficult to face, will be viewed in a new light of shared hope.

the opening line from heartbeats, reflects in some way the same sentiment "absolute truth is love beyond reason".
